Did my rent payment go through?

If you paid from a bank account and it says pending, don’t worry. You’re not late, and the payment is on its way.

Bank transfers take a few business days to clear. During that time the payment shows as pending because the money is moving but hasn’t fully settled yet. Once it clears, it shows as paid.

A few things that help:

• You paid on time based on the day you submitted it, not the day it finishes clearing.
• Weekends and bank holidays don’t count as business days, so a Friday payment can take until the middle of the next week.
• If a payment ever fails (for example, not enough funds in the account), you’ll be notified and the invoice goes back to unpaid so you can try again.
• Card payments confirm faster than bank transfers, if you need it to go through quickly.
