Export your data

Updated September 24, 2026 · 2 mins read

Your records are yours, and you can take a copy whenever you want. Exporting is on the Growth plan and up.

Go to Settings, then Integrations & Data and find Export data.

One list at a time. Pick CSV or JSON in the format menu, then click Download CSV (or Download JSON) next to Properties, Units, Tenants, or Leases. The file downloads right away.

Everything at once. Click Download everything. LeaseRooster builds one zip file and emails you a download link when it’s ready.

Saved presets. If you pull the same export often, click New preset, give it a name, choose the data to include and the format, and click Save preset. Run it any time with Run now, and you’ll get an email when the file is ready.

Scheduled exports. When you set up a preset, choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly under Schedule (optional). It runs on that schedule and emails you a link each time.

At tax time. The Schedule E file isn’t here. Go to Financials, then Books, pick the tax year, and click Schedule E export.

One thing to check: the link in the export email expires on the date it shows. Save the zip somewhere you control once it arrives. After that, request a new export from Settings.
