Upload your renters insurance

Many leases ask you to carry renters insurance. If yours does, your portal is where you show proof.

Open Insurance in your portal and upload your policy documents or proof of coverage. Your property manager can then see that you’re covered, so you’re not chased for something you already have.

A couple of pointers:

• Renters insurance covers your own belongings and your liability. Your landlord’s policy does not cover your things.
• When your policy renews each year, upload the new proof so your coverage stays current on file.
