Build credit by reporting your rent

Paying rent on time is one of your biggest regular payments, and it usually doesn’t help your credit at all. Rent reporting can change that.

If your property manager has turned this on, you’ll find it in your portal under Settings. From there you can opt in to have your on-time rent payments reported, and opt back out whenever you like. You’re in control of it.

Worth knowing:

• It’s your choice. Nothing is reported unless you opt in.
• Only your own rent activity is reported, to help you build a payment history.
• You can stop at any time from the same place.

Don’t see the option? It means your property manager hasn’t enabled rent reporting. You can ask them about it.
