Record a payment made outside LeaseRooster

Not every payment comes through the app. When a tenant pays you by cash, check, or their own bank transfer, record it so the lease ledger matches reality.

Open the invoice and mark it paid offline. Enter the amount, the date, and how they paid. The invoice closes and the balance updates, just as it would for an online payment.

Why bother logging it:

• The tenant sees an accurate balance in their portal and isn’t chased for rent they already paid.
• Your financial reports and year-end numbers stay correct.

Offline payments never touch Stripe, so there’s no processing fee. You’re just keeping the record straight.
